Very nice work! I will try those loops on my last three runners. Looks like you used binding to finish yours off. Neat idea!

Some quilt stores carry this pattern or you can order it online. Google spiral table runners and a whole bunch of web sites will pop up for you...you'll see some really nice suggestions for color choices.

Mine came from philipsfiberart.com Cheryl has the the pattern and a 10 degree ruler. You will need a nine or ten degree ruler for this. It's not hard if you read carefully and mark off the cuts as you make them.

Yes, I bind mine. I've never had good luck sandwiching quilts so I don't try. 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" bias binding works fine. I didn't double it like I do on a quilt.

edit: I just walked by the sewing machine. The latest one's loops are bigger in the bigger spaces.

I first saw it on this board and had to have it also. You can Google Spicy Spiral Tablerunner and come up with places to order it. You also have to buy a special ruler. It either a 9 or 10 degree ruler. When you do order it, get the longer of the 2 offered. The extra length helps. I'm sorry, I don't remember where I got mine.
The cutting is a little strange, and you end up with something that looks like swiss cheese. They are so awesome when they are done!
