I have made several that were twin or bigger. They work great just take a bit longer to make like anything else that size. My biggest was about the size of full or a bit bigger.

Sure, most of mine are at least queens. I have had to take a couple of the big ones to the laundromat & use the big triple loaders. I take them outside & shake them like crazy before washing & check, empty the lint traps in the dryer every 15 minutes.

I've seen full size and larger. One was made with old jeans. At a quilt show there was a large one made in the shape of a turtle. lots of possibilities.

No me. Just realize they tend to become heavy quilt with the layers of flannel. If you make one larger, REMEMBER to do the first wash at a laundromat, they have much larger pipes than homes do.

I made one for my daughter not quite big enough for a twin bed, but larger than a lap quilt. She loves it, it was easy too. Had some squares left over, decided to make one for me (still in the UFO stage though).
