we live in the springfield area and our favorite quilt store woul have to be Quilt Sampler at the corner of
glenstone and Sunshine. It's about 2 1/2 miles west of 65 hwy and if you are in the area you just as well stop at Merrily we quilt along which is right next to hwy 65 and the little shop in Ozark is a definite place to stop, you can shop while you are waiting in line at Lamberts to eat some of the best home made rolls around.
When you get to Branson Quilts and Quilt country is a definite have to visit place, they have been able to expand since they had to move.
Hope you enjoy your trip.

There is a Ben Franklins in Macon that has alot of fabric. If you take a little detour west of Jefferson City on Hwy C,
there Pleasant Valley Quilts and down the gravel road from there is Excelsior Fabrics, both run by the Menonites. Keep going west to Stover is Stover Quality Quilting. You can watch them quilt by moving the frame that is hung to the ceiling. Also in Stover is Nustyle Quilting. They used to advertise 9,000 bolts of fabric. Also in Stover is Claudes. They had a large varity of stripes and dots.
