    Hi,

I'm visiting the greater Phoenix area and wondered if any of the board members living in this area can recommend one or quilt shops to visit. I won't have enough time to visit all of them.

    thanks. :)

There is a new called In Stitches, 2403 N PebbleCreek #109. Nice place, short hours the last time I was there. They closed at 4PM.

Good luck on your visit! Sorry to say that for us right now it is not short and t-shirt weather. Depending on where you are coming from it may feel like summer to you

Not sure on how far you are willing to drive but if you have an hour or so to kill and want a pretty drive... Payson is about an hour maybe an hour from Mesa. It's a wonderful drive. Very pretty and one of the best quilts store's I have seen.

    Quilters Outpost
    904 N Beeline Hwy # E, Payson, AZ 85541-3768

    (928) 468-6360 ‎

it's well worth the drive and the ladies that work there are just wonderful.

Really try to get to Mulqueens, if you can. They have a huge selection, and most fabrics are $6.95 yrd, batiks are a little more. No, I don't work there - wish I did though.
