    I always like a frame and suggest one of the brightest colors like red.

    piano keys would look nice.. or even 2x2 square borders to 'outline it'

    I think a black would frame the quilt beautifully which such a beautiful quilt deserves.

    I think the black. That is a beautiful quilt. Maybe as someone suggested earlier some prairie points or would that be just too much? It is going to be beautiful whqatever you do.

    I would use a solid color border, maybe black or navy blue?
