I like the gray border idea; then bind pull out one of the colors to bind it with. Nice quilt!

I would use a plain black border 3 to 4 inches wide.

Black border and piano key outer border. Can piece the piano key border on adding machine tape (3 inch) or if you want it wider piece on newsprint or telephone book pages.Love the colors!

Your quilt is going to be drop-dead gorgeous!! I would use a very dark border to frame all those lovely string blocks!
