seam allowance shows through..............

I plan on making a quilt with plain offwhite background fabric and my problem is that one can see through the fabric the seam allowance, even the white itself.
Ironing to the dark side will not always be possible because of paper piecing patterns.
How do you handle that?

I'm not too picky about this .....you can either live with it or get a thicker white fabric. For me if it is a toss around quilt I would live with it. If it is to be a special quilt I'd find a thicker fabric. Keep us posted on what you decide.

I don't have any special answers to that except I have noticed before that after you get it quilted and finished the seam allowances are not really noticable because you see the whole thing and don't focus on seam lines.I have worried about the same thing, but never had a problem after seeing it completed. This is only a thought, not a guarantee!!

Audition it against the batting you will be using ... and see if the visibility minimizes.

this shouldn't be a big issue when you put the batting and backing on.
use white batting and it will blend the seam out quite nicely.
also once you start doing some quilting on it things will blend even more.
