    ube quilting - that is how I understand self binding. I usually leave 1" of the backing all of the way around. Then I fold in half and then sew to the front. I don't really understand what the OP is talking about the border - but I hope they share a picture when its completed

    I did it from the front to the back. So it looks like no binding. I have three more sides to go. I'll post a pic after I get it finished. It's fast and I might get it finished before Christmas.
