:-( I had to take my sewing machine in for a check up, it just isn't acting right. My hubby is upset with my because I have waited for 6 mouths to take it in.( he knows how much I love my machine, he bought it for me a couple of years ago)
I have a quilt I need to finish for my hubby, and then I have 2or 3 to get started soon.I'm going nuts

Ohhhh...that is hard! That's why I have a back up machine. Not nearly as nice as my Bernina, but it would do in a pinch.

It's so hard to have to go without our machines. I hope yours comes home soon and is as good as new

I came unglued once because no matter what I did, I couldn't get my machine to sew (knots and grinding). My hubby, with a shear look of panic on HIS face, kept reassuring me: if you can't get it to work, "we'll" take it in... "we" can get another one... "we'll" get you sewing again. It was kinda cute. Take some deep breaths and you'll get through this. I feel for you.

I'm hanging in there, my machine is still in the shop. If school was out and I was home with out my machine I would be going nuts by now, at least I am to get it back before Spring break

Hey kpc,
Just an idea?
Could you use this time to do any of your pressing and cutting of fabrics for your next projects? That way when you do get your machine back you can give it a super road test with all the sewing that you will need to do to get caught up with your precut pieces to be pieced back together into quilt/projects?
Just a thought?
