Since I have started quilting (I can't call myself a quilter yet - still learning and practicing), I have stopped overeating and have lost weight steadily.
In my time schedule, something has got to give, cleaning and cooking or quilting. It isn't cleaning and cooking.

Hey guys,
Since I,ve become a 'quilter', I have made by dining table my cutting area, the chairs are my fab ric stocking place!!. I have lessened the visits to my relatives and make the most of my time to read books relating to Quilts, which I feel is healthier, instead of talking nonsence!!

Since I became a quilter I have come to like making quilts.
Since I became a quilter I have found new friends who are there for me when I get my panic attacks.
since I became a quilter my spare room has become a junk room for all my made quilts and left over fabrics not yet put away.
Since I became a quilter I have met with a lot of new friends on this board who have given me free advise and support when I needed it the most. THANK YOU EVERYONE:-)

Since I became a quilter, my learning curve has been vertical with no end in sight, I've joined this board with all you lovely folks which I enjoy, my husband has said I spend too much time here & not enough time quilting & is even trying to help me build my stash!! Is that great or what?! I so love that man!! :-) Imagine my delight when he said we need to check & see if we can get some more fat qtrs at Big Lots the other day!

Since I became a quilter I have become addicted to the quilting board and all the beautiful stuff everyone makes.; My house has some form of material to quilt in it, even the bathroom; and I don't want to stop and cook or clean or anything else.

When I started this thread I didn't realize just how much I've changed, not just my house. I've become more patient and spend so much more time crafting/creating with my girls (they each have a quilting companion machine from Janome).
But, I must admit, I've also, somewhat, changed for the worse, . When I need to do the quilting, I take over the dining room and tell the family to eat in the kitchen, hehe. My mending basket takes so much longer to empty out and I no longer hunt for mending. The family knows that if they want something mended then they need to put it in the basket...and I'll get to it...someday!
