Singer Antique Machine

My 15-91 is a treadle machine. It is a straight stitch machine. They also made them as handcranks machines and as electric machines. I love the stitch on mine. It is a great machine.
Here is a link to a review of the machine...

The machine is a 15-91, and the AH # is the serial number.
Singer has a site where you can check to see when then machine # was alloted. I don't have the address, but can google it. Check Singer sewing machine serial numbers, or something like that. :)

I do believe that the 91 is one that everybody likes around here. It is a sleek looking machine.

The 15-90 is the model 15 that is able to be handcranked or treadled, it's a belt driven machine.
The 15-91 has a "potted motor" and is gear driven. One of my favorite machines!! You can drop the feed dogs, it has an eight inch harp/throat space, and it's a powerful workhorse!
