I have found a 1948 Featherweight on Craig's List (Locally) that I am interested in. I have requested they send me the serial number and am waiting for that information. Am I correct in thinking there is a site where I can look up information if I have this serial number? I just don't want to buy a lemon or a fake. Thanks for any help you can provide.
