Have you ever done anything like this?
I don't have a picture, but a long while back, I was visiting a small country quilt shop. The owner was sooo sweet and had a lot of items on the wall that she had done. The one I would like to try is a beautiful one yard panel that was an amazing scenery something like a Thomas Kincaid picture. She took the panel and using fusible webbing, she fused 3/4" grogaine ribbon across and down on the panel. The ribbon was made to look like an old timey window with the wood that separated the glass. Then she took the scene with the ribbon and framed it in white about 4" wide with mitered corners. She had backed it using a plain fabric and cotton batting. Then she lightly quilted it. It looked just like you were looking out the window into a beautiful garden.
If you have ever done one of these, could you post a picture to refresh my memory? I have a beautiful scenery panel I would like to do. Thanks in advance.

Many are busy with their morning routines at the time you posted your inquiry.
No I have not done what you have described ... though IMHO it would be a real challenge to get those lines going straight!!!

I am sorry for being impatient. and I thank you for your comments. Impatience is one of my many faults.
