Who wants to be perfect, you have more fun when you're not perfect!

You will never be perfect my dear, if you were you'd be in a museum  Mistakes are learning curves, some more expensive than others in terms of time and wastage - following the rules doesn't always work out either, do your best and have fun

I'm working on a diamond log cabin star pattern from magazine which isn't working out properly either

    im sorry about your issue...
    BUT...

Im very thankful for this thread :D
I have issues with expecting too much perfection from myself... never seems to work right lol
I joined the doll quilt swap... ended up making 5 tops before i was satisfied enough with 1 lol.

Its a bit refreshing to me when i find im not the only 1 that does silly little mistakes, not that i wish mistakes on people, just nice to know im not alone :D

I had a small top ready to sandwich, my maw inlaw asked why it was so wrinkled and I told her it was cut to fit, sewn to meet and pounded in place. I just dampened my fingertips and push some of it around before sewing......what did I know, that was 30 years ago and polyester was fun material if you didn't care about what the results were. She said she'd never heard of sears sucker polyester. So at the beauty shop (she is 96 now) last month she told a great grand daughter that Aunt Ruth made a quilt looked like the wallpaper. Now can you beat that, she has forgotten it was a joke. Can't wait til I get that old and entertain everyone.

You'll be ok, sugar! I do my best rippin' at night!

    Blessings,
    Ruth
