Stating the obvious
Why is it that i always do this! I just spent an hour and a half re-threading, cleaning the machine, changing the bobbin, changing the thread. Finally...oh golly...maybe i should change the needle! Its always the last thing i think of. I need to put a sign on my machine..."change the needle, stupid!"

I'm embarrassed to tell you that today I couldn't figure out for the longest time why my Janome 12000 wouldn't let me move the needle over to the right. Grrrr!
Finally I realized that I had forgotten to change the needle plate from the embroidery one to the regular sewing one (I've been using it mostly for embroidery), so that it wouldn't let me go to the right and break a needle. Once I changed it, everything worked like it was supposed to. I really felt stupid.

If I heard a soft plucking noise or it doesn't sew a nice stitch. I change the bobbib. I was changing before quilt a new quilt. I saved them for piecing. I have about ten of them. Now I change like I said above.
