    Definitely hard floors - easier to sweep up the pins and scraps and threads.

    I think it will be laminate..OMG, I should have done it before I moved all my stuff in there!! Oh well, didn't have the funds then (don't quite have them now!!).

    I think the old kind of shower curtain rings, the metal ones keyhole shape, would work great to hang rulers on if you have a rod up. They're pretty cheap. Or even a bent up piece of coat hanger would be heavy enough to hold them, and they're really cheap!! get out your pliers :wink: :wink:

    Maybe not so organized but I had to share this picture of my 3 year old grandaughter. I have this plastic bin beside my cutting table that small scraps go in to. She was "helping" me sew. She has a love of fabric.
