Go get an oven liner. They are made of teflon and you just have to add the little whole for the needle. Cost $6-7 which is way less than the slider.

I have the slider, but tried out the pan liner for cookies, and its is bigger and I think more slippery, I also purchased the vinyl by the yard, but don't think it works as well as the cookie sheet liner.:)

UPDATE: See other posting about Supreme Sliders - guess my memory isn't so bad after all. They talk about cookie sheet liners.
I use teflon cookie sheet liners that I bought at a garage sale for 50 cents - works for me!

I've enjoyed this discussion and the good hints. I think I'll try the teflon liners.

I bought a yard of thick vinyl at JoAnn's with 40% coupon. Cut to fit almost the whole top of sewing machine and cabinet. Able to get 4 large pieces.
