Not sure where I would go color wise, but it kind of suggests Mardi Gras to me. Maybe us that as a jumping off spot for inspiration?

Definitely a different take on your round robin...pretty but difficult to match fabric colors. Can't wait to see what you've come up with..

What about a piano key border? Could turn out interesting.

I'm with MadameKelly, make it a mardi gras quilt by adding gold color fabric. Some rich red, bright blue, with a blendable solid will go great with the Mardi Gra theme. Search for Mardi Gra quits to get some color ideas.

Something with navy blue would be awesome.

Call me crazy but I think a bright turquoise or aqua would go well with these colors. I also like the idea of orange. Maybe both!

I really like the colors and design so far. I think I would do a narrow 1" green sewed to a 2" purple (finished) and miter the corners. This would give the eyes a place to rest and also be a good starting place for the next row.

I'm with AZ Jane and would like to see you use some navy. For me that would keep it a little more calm and classy.
