Question for those who sell at craft shows... what's the best way to put the price on?

Last time I did this, I made small cards, punched a hole in the corner, threaded yarn through, and pinned it to every item. The pins, although very tiny, always made me nervous. I stack stuff on a bed and cover them when they are not at a show, and I am always worried one will rip out.

I'd like a better plan for this year.

I think about stickers--but they can't leave residue andeand I worry they'll fall off. I thought about posting a price list, but I think some will hate having to look a price up.

    Ideas?

Off topic question: do we still have the option of getting emails when there's been a reply to a post?

I have used several methods over the years. First lesson learned the hard way .. using tags with strings.... what a mess when they get tangled on each other. Stickers can come off too easily ... and some people will pull the switching of tags.
I now make a tag on my computer that I punch two holes in the top just under 1/2 inch apart and safety pin the tag through the two holes in the tag. They stay flat ..and more secure .

As for getting e- mails you have to do this while in the message thread .. At the top of the first post there is a drop down menu called Thread tools , you can turn on the notifications Via the subscribe feature.

I don't price each individual item. I use those plastic, 3x5 self supporting frames (do they still sell those?) and print an index card, insert it into the frame and place it somewhere near the pile or display of items (baby bibs, potholders, etc.). For larger items I use the plastic quilting gun and print price tags. I usually "stab" the item twice at the top of the tag. That holds the tag securely.

I've learned some good ideas here. Thanks for asking the question Barnbum. By the way, where in the Finger Lakes are you?

I have business cards with my contact info which I punch a hole in the corner and tie them on to my bags with yarn. Put prices on the card with marker.
