I bid $31 on this pallet of upholdstery fabric and won. Now I have a mountain of fabric that was priced from $12 to $25 per yard. These are all sample large swatch pieces - most have a 26x26 inch piece in one color and then up to 8 or 9 12x12 inch pieces of the same pattern in different colors.

Will be great for purses, laptop bags, shopping bags, dog and cat beds. Will most likely end up sharing out the fabric as this is truely a mountain of material.

Already started my first project. will post photos in a couple of days when it is finished.

Wow! No kidding. That is some deal but I must say the shear size of that pallet scares me. Where will you put it all?

Any ideas of good projects for this fabric would be welcome. The limiting factor is not a lot of any one piece of fabric but great opportunties for coordinated fabrics to be put together with the various colors available in the same design.

Thought about pillow, but one can only have so many pillows around :)

It only took 3 car loads in back seat and trunk to bring it all home - still sorting through to see what all is there.

You can make just anything you want with upholstery fabric. If you like to donate items for charity you can make wheel chair bags. Some nursing homes will take small lap quilts with different textures for alzhiemer (SP?) patients because they like to feel the different textures. Oh my, there are many different things you could make. Whatever you decide to do have fun while doing it.
