I do not have a clock in my sewing room. I do wear a watch but when I am sewing I rearely look at it. I know I need to move and change activities about every 45 minutes to give my arthritis attention. My sewing room is llike the casinos--timeless. Thankfully I'm retired so I don't have to run my life by the clock anymore. I love it when I am in that "Zone" in my sewing room!

I do because I teach sewing and if I didn't have the clock we would keep sewing past the time for the student to go, not so much a problem for me as the student who is trying to fit several trips together sometimes.

I don't have a clock in my outdoor work area & yesterday I had to do a lot of work in the garden as we're staking our tomato plants which are really getting big. While my husband was making metal clips to hold the stakes up, I sandwiched a quilt, then went back & worked until I hurt too bad to do any more. I still have a few boxes to do, but most are done & today was too cold. When we got hungry, I went after supper.

Oh my yes I have a clock.. in fact I have 3 in my sewing room that I can think of.. I'm one of those people who likes to know what time it is.. sort of.. I don't want to have to hunt to see the time.. I just want to glance up and see if it's nearly something.. like nearly 1 or almost half past.. I don't care for digital clocks that give the precise minute.. I just want to know 'about' what time it is, therefore I have analog clocks, except for the clock radio. I have several clocks in every room of my house.. Time change is an ordeal here! haha....

One time I got wrapped up in my sewing and completely forgot that my neighbor was expecting me for lunch that day. I remembered when I got hungry about 2 hours too late. That was more than 30 years ago and I still feel guilty for standing her up like that! Having a clock in the room doesn't help me because I don't think to look at it. I have to set a noisy timer if I need to keep any sort of appointment.
