Tip toe through the hexagons Cutie style! Cutting
#13
I am moving slow, I have to clear a spot on my table yet, yes I am working along with you all! it is easier that way, I can stop and take a picture if need be and if I work ahead I may not have the right one and have to back track. I was playing with the idea of doing more than one, since I have a week to get them all to the next point. I have so many ideas after seeing everyones fabrics.

so I went and cut off where I needed to and then split the fabric in half length wise, I will be working with half of the fabric at a time, depending on where you are getting your repeats from, you may be doing this differently,

if I was to use this piece, it is smaller but I can still get 6 repeats out it if I cut it correctly, so it would make a good wall hanging or doll quilt or something of the sorts.

Cutebuns
so I can cut my width in half and then length in three?
Im afraid of cutting up the fabric wrong, I dont know where on the repeat I want to cut. are the triangles cut best lined up on a grain? or I can turn it whatever way to get the pattern? what size is best for a sixinch repeat?
I figure I will try to follow along with your posts the best I can, but it may take longer for me, being this is my first wbo. if Im being a pest or get behind I guess I can watch and learn, then do this some other time.
Im so EXCITED! especially to see everyones blocks

We are only working with half of the fabric, if you are using repeats out of the width you need to cut those on the repeat as well, half usually isn't on the repeat, we have as little as possible in the scrap bin,
can you post a picture with the width and at least 2 repeats lengthwise? then I can show you what I mean,
