I didnt have anywhere to store my rulers. I was hanging them from a metal shower curtain ring on the wall. We have a rental property and when we evicted the tenats they left most of their belongings. In their stuff I found the perfect ruler holder. Dont have a clue what its really for, but it works great for my rulers. I do know its meatn for babies or baby related activites.

I'm from Tahoe. Where is Mosquito? I use the non skid drawer liners everywhere. I large square beside my sewing machine which holds my sissors, nippers, and pincushion and tray, like a short silverware tray that holds odd stuff I need and a coffee cup which doesn't scoot around. I use an old dish drainer bottom under my serger which walks around a formica topped table. It also leaks oil that stains the drain tray not the wood or formica surface. I use the non skid fabric for jar openers, place it under a sheet which I cut the dogs hair on, secure the vaccum cleaner wand tighter. fold a large piece and place between front seats so my Yorkie can get in the back seat over the emergency brake, secure the shower caddie to the shower head arm, etc

A young man at out quilt guild made ruler stands out of pretty wood that were about 6 inches wide by 12 inches long. They had grooves cut into them lengthwise, that allowed you to store about 6 or 8 rulers standing up and they took up very little space

Love thrift stores. However, I had a hardwood bread box that I was not using and had my husband mount it on the wall left of my sewing machine. Great storage for small boxes of pins, buttons, needles, extra rotary blades, etc. I even use the outside top to store extra pin cushions. Simple, but helpful.
