You guys have me almost convinced to buy one but I need to know first - does it work with any rotary cutter? You don't need to have the TrueCut rotary cutter, right?

I use the Olfa, Fiskar and Fons and Porter rotary cutter size 45 and 60. No problem. I have the small 28 size but haven't tried sharpening it yet. When I find it somewhere in my sewing room I will.

That is very cool looking! I wonder if my local store carries it... I will have to check next time I am out and about!!

I tried the sand paper one - and at first I thought it worked well and then tried it a few more times and I thought it was worthless....

I'm a gadget lover.. I might need to buy and hopefully love this gadget!

hmmmmm ... i've been less than impressed with mine. i assumed it was because i was doing something wrong but couldn't figure out what.

i know i need to practice holding the cutter correctly as i run it through.

i didn't consider that it might make more sense to maintain a sharp blade from the start. i was trying to sharpen blades that had already gone toooo-dull.

i think i'll try that with the new blade i just loaded.

Where did you decide to purchase it from ? I did a yahoo search but only came up with one other place that sells it besides the grace company.
