I don't know if this will help but I made a full size quilt using the 3.5 tumbler die. It has 1250 tumblers.

The tumbler quilts shown are both lovely, they have a certain appeal to me. I made one using the large die, but that little 3" one is so cute! Great way to use up a large variety of scraps. Putting it on the list!
Sorry, no help with the math!

I made one for my King bed that is 32 by 44 - I just put in on my queen guest bed it fits nicely buy the sides are long but look nice...they are like two rows from touching the floor. When I made mine I just kept checking the size on my bed and added a bit more due to quilting/cutting to size and binding.

Love your tumbler quilt. It looks like you used lots of scraps for such a wide variety of tumblers.

Don't forget you can add borders to help it grow... This finishes at 54" x 70" with the inner boarder being 1.5" and the outer 3"
