1) Has anyone gotten the binding foot and if so have you used it? I got mine today and either the instructions are dense or I am.

2) Has anyone made the Affairs of The Heart quilt using any other color than black for the background? I got the pattern but am not sure I want a black background. Any suggestions?

Which one did you get? I bought 2 that I saw--the $13 and the $69 because I didn't know which one would do the job. I got the $69 one but it came with no instructions. I'm waiting for someone to get back to me regarding instructions. The $13 binder was due to come in the mail today but I haven't received it yet. My regular mailman is on vacation.

I just got mine and you're right. Minimal directions. I'll try it out and let you know if I get it figured out before someone else posts better directions.
