UGLY QUILT...HELP
#1
I made a scrap quilt using a variety of fabrics: calico, juvenile, solids, etc. and found out that using too much variety made an ugly quilt. I thought of adding colorful sashing and borders to help solidify the quilt. What do you think might help save this ugly quilt?

We must have been posting at the same time as your photos just popped up. And I don't think it is ugly. Maybe just the right sashing, one of the main fabics perhaps? I don't feel qualified to comment as I am so new at this, but look forward to the comments of others.

Everyone has their own personal preferences. Depending on the rest of your blocks, there seems to be a red and a blue that are in most of your blocks. I would choose one of these two colors to sash with. I like a lot of color which usually influences my decision, so go with your preferences and it will be right.
