I have used this on my longarm and it quilts up nicely, just have to be careful not to overstretch. I use the flannel side out, but have never tied a quilt with it. It washes and dries up nice.

Thank you to everyone for the replies, tips and questions. Will let you know what I end up with. I thought it would make some very soft and warm quilts, especially charity quilts.

If that is the flannel with the slick backing they used to use for baby pj's, don't use it in a quilt. The fuzz (flannel) wore off the slick side and left you with a really sleazy slick almost transparent fabric...not for quilting!

Hummm, I have no idea if it's the same thing. Maybe I'll just try it out on something small and keep it and see what happens.

Thanks,
Jp

I,too, have used this on quilts with flannel side out. It works just fine & makes the quilt soft & cuddly.
