wish I could, but son and his family (3 kids under age 8--8,3,2) are arriving tonight and leave 4th after lunch. Plus have DD and her DH and my husband's family all here on Sunday--we have lots of birthdays around the 4th so have a big family gathering. So no sewing until late on the 4th--maybe!
Although I do have a sewing project that oldest g-son can do and my SIL may be bringing her machine for her 2 g-kids to use on a pillow project. Sew....have fun with all your projects--I'll check back for updates!

I have cut the strips and now I am sewing a black set strip to a white set strip, then sewing them together and finally cutting out the blocks using the Cozy Quilt Tube triangle ruler. Here is the pattern I am using:

Joining in, started this morning
My List:
1. Friendship appliquéd block for Guild.
2. As many 365 blocks as possible, trying to catch up. I made 6/13's block yesterday.
3. Printing off all the monthly Free BOMs
4. Making Pat Sloan's Mystery BOM. May, June and July blocks
Will post anything I get done.

I had fun. I had a wild hair to try and put pink and orange together. It didn't work, but my one wonky block is kind of cute.
It isn't sewn and may never be (my seams aren't THAT bad, LOL). I figured I'd show it anyway. I thought it was a unique version of 54/40.
My DH said that the star points look like lady's legs. The ladies are bending down and looking between their legs, LOL. Men.
It actually has more contrast than it shows here.

I'm joining in today to finish my AR Crossroad king size quilt. Just need to sew together the 20 extra blocks (already maid), and borders. I can sew most of today and then I work the weekend. I'm off on Monday - Wednesday and will continue my sewing then. I need to package 4 BD candy squares to mail out today. Then I need to make a 12 1/2' block for a swap. I will show pics when I get these done. If I have time, I plan to start my 2 1/2" log cabin. My summertime challenge project. The directions are on the tutor section on the Board here. It's a great way to use up some of my 2 1/2" candy squares. And If I really have time I plan to set up a quilt on my quilting machine.
Off to get some of my projects done. Happy sewing everyone.
