goal #1 complete! My part is done here, since someone else will bind it. This is "Fox and Friends" quilt pattern, for a class I'll be teaching at the end of this month.

those foxes are so cute!

I'm going to work on completing some projects. I've put myself on a "don't start anything new until old stuff is done" diet. I'm not happy as I have the perfect fabric for a pattern I've wanted to start for some time.

But we can't always do just what we want - so that will be my "reward" for getting through this stack.

I am slowly piecing the sections to make an Island Quilt from my first Bali pops called Hummingbird.

I have the center section almost sewn in strips. Just sliver trimming the 8 blocks sets and going to see if I can get the right side laid out. I always struggle with fabric placement on scrappy quilts.

I am hoping to get my niece's wedding quilt top done this weekend but it depends on a lot of things. We need to mow a lawn. That will probably be Saturday. Then we need to get new car plates to ds out in philly. Probably meet half way and have lunch on Sunday. Then I also have to prep for my first college course I am teaching. I retired from teaching high school math in June and was hired 2weeks ago to teach 2 classes at a local college 5 minutes from home.

I am in! I am working on a simple patriotic charity quilt, and have a couple more charity quilts in the queue!

I would like to cut some more scraps to get started on a scrappy quilt. I have been trying to convince myself. To cut up some of my larger scraps. Sometimes I have a hard time letting go. 😕 I am thinking about everything nice in Joan Ford's book Scraptherapy Cut the Scraps. It's based on light and dark color value. I needed more lights,so I dug some out, that's were I'm at. But yesterday I started, a outside cushion, very fitted. I think I'll work on both this weekend.

YES! I just purchased from Craftsy a mystery quilt by Kimberly Einmo that I plan to start. I've got the strips cut and labeled ready for Saturday.

Count me in as well! I have a child's quilt that I am going to add one additional border to make it larger. Hopefully, it can go to the LAer early next week. Also working on a tablerunner that will have to be laft in parts as I am doing a demo on the pattern for our quilting club. Third, a friend embroidered a birth announcement pillow top for me, so I have to make the pillow cover (with ruffles) before the baby turns a year later this month!! Will keep everyone posted; hope you all get a lot accomplished!!

I'm still working on the Tumbler for my sister for Christmas. It is coming along, but just now, one of my cats is sleeping on it. Smoky Marie looks so comfortable, I just cannot move her. I will try to get some done tomorrow. (after making some oatmeal cookies).

I'll join in, but not until Sunday. Family reunion tomorrow and it will be so hot that I will no doubt collapse into a puddle of laziness when we get home.
I have a quilt to bind for my 3 year old granddaughter's birthday on the 9th.
