Default Wasn't a smart move on my part.

I keep a metal basket tray on my sewing desk for pencils, markers, push sticks, little note books, and my tube of sewing machine oil from Nova Montgomery. This white tube has a narrow tip that works perfect for my machines. Somehow, my finger sized white tube of Aileen's white glue also ended up in this metal container. You guessed it...I grabbed the glue instead of the machine oil. Thought to myself..."oh, white oil?" and then it dawned on me. Had to get it out of the bobbin case in a hurry. Paper tower twisted into a point and then my "purple thingy" to scrape it out. Pretty sure that every ounce has been removed, and then I removed the glue to the other side of the room for a new home. So far no problems with my machine.
Has anyone else done something crazy because they weren't paying enough attention to what they were doing?

We all have these moments. I keep grabbing my facial cleanser and try to wash my hair with it! Fortunately..I am in the shower so no harm .

You bet I have! So glad no damage was done!
PS. I'm famous for picking up pieces and sewing them the wrong way Maybe not dangerous but annoying!

My heart was in my throat when I was reading that.

I once nearly brushed my teeth with my Cortisone cream. Jim keeps putting it on the left next to the toothpaste.

Phew, how alarming. Good thing you moved quickly. I can't think of anything right now but I remember that wondering feeling right before realizing a big oops.

Glad you rescued it. Boston, my husband actually did brush his teeth with cortizone; said it was horrible. lol. I keep it put up where he can't find it now.

I'm thinking it might be a good idea to move the bottle of fray check that I keep by my machine over to the other side of the room
Glad you were able to remove it before it caused any problems!
