Well, so far, my misadventures haven't killed or seriously injured anyone. Thank you, God. (And that is said with absolute, total, reverence!)

Thanks for the good laugh. I plead the fifth for now.

I had gotten 3 boys and myself ready for church many years ago and was so flustered I sprayed Scrubbing Bubbles on my hair instead of hair spray. We went to church anyway. The ladies Sunday school class got a kick out of it.

marshakay, you can be comforted by the fact that you aren't the only one whose had that problem. My car started overheating one day at lunch-time. I had headed home to eat lunch, but stopped when I noticed the "idiot light" on the dash -- the car was hot. I immediately pulled into a "service station". This guy came running out and asked me what's the matter, what's the matter -- I told him the car was overheating. He wanted me to pull the hood release, which I did. He went to the windshield washer reservoir and said, "It shouldn't be running hot, it's got plenty of fluild. Now, I'm a mechanic's daughter, so I told him that if he didn't know any more about the car than that, I'd just close the hood and go home, thank you very much.!

One morning I grabbed the lemon pledge instead of the spray oil when I was making eggs for my son. I couldn't figure out why I kept smelling lemons! Realized my error just as I was about to serve the eggs. They went in the trash and I never mentioned it.

When my son was in Middle School he was told to take his shower one day & when he came out he smelled awful like rotten eggs. I ran into the bathroom to find he'd washed his entire body (including hair) with my brand new bottle of Nair hair remover!! LOL! He had to get right back in the shower & wash good with the regular soaps! He didn't lose his hair, but he sure smelled better the second time he finished showering! LOL!
