I agree. This is a beautiful combination of colors.

I agree with some of the others, If you son likes black and white. and she pick there is a WIDE difference there in color, yet the pink would soften the black and white. Them maybe both will be pleased. :)

You could go with the wedding colors, and use them just as an accent with a white on white background. Would still be very soft and pretty, but not overly pink

How about black and white on both sides, but on one side make one pink block for her and on the reverse side, make one block in his favorite color.

Our DD is getting married in May--her wedding colors are pink, tan and black. I've decided to make her wedding quilt a OBW in those colors, trying to keep the pink to a minimum. I just think it will be striking with that combination. Quilt4u, maybe that would work for yours too,?

I love the design but I think it has too much pink for a guy. You might use the pink as the binding and a thin 2nd border?

Make one side what she likes and the other side something that appeals to him.

This quilt is stunning -- a show stopper of fabulous color and visual energy -- what a great quilt. I like this one. I went to the link mentioned above to see the white, black and pink quilt. I don't know who this woman is, but she makes beautiful quilts. Here is the photo.

It is said that a quilt whatever color, like a Persian rug, will go with any decor. Whatever you make will be treasured and loved I am sure.
