I was thinking the opposite of some the others... small teal inner border. I think that would be like a frame. I do like the idea of the keyboard outer border or maybe some other type of pieced outer border

Your quilt is beautiful!

Your quilt is beautiful! 3 inch white and teal outer boarder would be great.

Love the pieced border idea. I would make the inner narrow border something very dark so there is no "bleeding" from any of the blocks, either the white or the teal. Charcoal, navy, maybe even a dark rust. Then add the white and teal from that. Will give it a nice frame.

This Border really looks good but I am working with small scraps and have just about use all of this color, but may have enough for a scrappy piano border, I just wanted to start using up all my scraps as they are getting to be to many, and with two large totes of them, it is starting to drive me crazy... Thanks everyone for all your suggestions on my border dilemma.. I now can go forward and get this quilt done.. Thanks

I know that's more work (sorry!) but your quilt looks so lovely I thought it deserves to be beautiful all the way out to the very edge.

I would make the border all white to make the design seem to float. I'm not a fan of plain strip borders so my opinion is never what anyone wants to hear. LOL

That was also my thought.
