Blocks are not exclusive to one person and sometimes they don't have a specific name. Isn't A an equilateral triangle?? That is what I call it but Tri Rec was the first to produce the ruler but others now make them since they are used in a variety of blocks. B is called an elongated half square triangle because that is what it is. C & D I have seen but no specific given name to them.

The triangle in A is not an equilateral triangle. The base is shorter than the other two sides.

the skinny triangle is the common factor in all four figures.

C and D might be considered variations of a snowball, depending on how it is constructed. Rectangular snowball, LOL

Don't forget Peaky and Spike for the first two, which are Doreen Speckman's names for them. And honestly, I don't know which is named which.

I think the large center triangle is Peaky and the side two are Spikes.
