Any opinions/advice re: BlueMax™ Full Spectrum HD Floor Lamps. I already have an Ott floor lamp with the magnifying attachment and find it very useful.

I have not heard of this lamp but doesn't surprise me that someone would like to take on the Ott light empire. I just wish Ott bulbs would stop emitting such intense heat. With it being so hot out here in So CA, I can actually feel the heat coming from the bulb!!

My husband uses a full spectrum light when working on his airplane models. He loves it. Says it gives a true light. He has had it for years without any problems.
