I'm working on my granddaughter's quilt. I bought 2 templates to do the squares and can't decide which to use. The block size is 8". The circle is 7", heart is 8". Which do you like better?

    The circle

    The heart

More so you can see the blocks

I think I would use both ....every other block. Be sure to show us your finished quilt:)

I like the circle best, but I'm sure your quilt will look great whatever pattern you choose!

I, too like the circle the best as I am not much for hearts. But the idea of using both is a good one, especially since it is for your GD!!!

I vote for the circle. Then it won't matter which way the quilt is on the bed. It will be beautiful! Great design and beautiful quilt.

Using the heart will make th quilt 'directional'. There is only one way to place it on the bed. If this is ok, I'd go with them both!

I think you're in a win/win situation here. Both are lovely and would look great either alone or used together. If I had to choose just one though, for me it would be the circle. I don't really know why since I adore hearts, but something about it just seems to really fit your quilt. :-D
