What does "Quick Pieced" mean?

Blew up the picture to look at it again.
I think that quilt is intermediate level. Even really confident beginner.
Look at what's involved:
The little white stars are regular sawtooth blocks - so that's just a bunch of flying geese (which, I see, you're already checking out).
The big stars are most probably strip pieced - a la Lone Star.
I just can't figure out, without seeing the directions, how she's doing the boots. But pieced or pp, the pieces are big enough and shouldn't be a problem if the directions are followed correctly.
While generally a bit too rustic for my style, it's kinda growing on me. ;-)
And it looks fabulous in that log cabin setting.
