My new favorite would work well with this; it's what I call 4&1. A large square of the focus fabric, then a 4 patch of the coordinating fabrics. Alternate across the quilt, and the 4Ps make a bit of Irish Chain across the diagonal if you keep the colors in the same place each time. More scrappy looking if you let them fall where they may.
You could use your focus fabric for one of the small squares or add in another color, perhaps the pink. This one is done scrappy, but it also works well with controlled fabrics.
