Oooohhhh Nooooo...I shouldn't have asked this question! Now I have loads of other quilts to add to my list.

Thanks a lot, people!

I also don't have a bucket list -- for anything! I DO have a UFP list -- some items of which have been there a decade or so. If I could finish everything in my two boxes of unfinished projects, without being distracted by wanting to do something new... LOL2!

I'm so glad you asked this. I've been meaning to get my list organized.

I went to our quilt show yesterday and immediately knew I had to add the Blooming Nine Patch to my list.
The Stained Glass Butterfly pattern that's been in timeout for several years now.
One that isn't designed yet is a sunset background with a hawaiian lattice in the foreground. Or possibly a New Orleans cast aluminum fence pattern.
A Pheonix done in a pixelated style possibly using the bargello technique. I'm not sure yet.
3 journal or baltimore album window quilts denoting major events in my life. For the craftroom.
Cottage Door for a window quilt for my bedroom.
It's one of the compass rose or mariners compass patterns. I know what it looks like in my mind but the long thin points scare me.
Asian Influence
And I would love to do an asian panel quilt with birds or dragons. I'm still thinking on that one.
And I can't forget dad's Naval Career Quilt.

That takes care of my personal bucket list. On the charity quilt side of the house I'd like to do some raggedy brick patterns the way bricks are laid out. The first one which the fabric has been chosen for is the spanish bond pattern. I'll be learning how to deal with the 3 seam corner on this one.

Then I have a piece of fabric that has a latino folk art set of blocks on it. I want to add sashing to make it fit a single size bed.

My " bucket list" is too flexible.....changes each week......looking back at some of my PHDs- projects half done.....they were once on my bucket list....so I just make "challenges" for myself.....some small as a mug rug, some large bed size....just to get that technique/pattern out of my system.....'cause you know there's a new one just around the corner....

Oldcatlady, I love Paula Nadelstern's fabrics. I'm in the process of quilting a UFO Jacob's ladder where I used some of her fabric for the darks. If I had bucket loads of money to spend I'd buy yards and yards of every fabric she had ever designed LOL!

My bucket list of quilts is mainly things I design myself. However, I'd like to do some paper pieced stars and maybe a paper piece New York Beauty. I love paper piecing, but I don't like having to remove the paper. Maybe a pineapple quilt just for the opportunity to play with a two color design. I also want to do another couple of sampler quilts that use a variety of blocks of different sizes which are then put together using fill strips (think the Craftsy 2013 block of the month that Laura Nownes taught). That kind of quilt is both challenging from both a technical and also a design standpoint. I don't usually use patterns designed by other folks, but I might want to try something like Bonnie Hunter's Allietare mystery some day--though I don't know if I have the patience to stick with all those really small pieces--it's lovely and a number of folks here on the board have made really beautiful versions....
