Default What will you be doing today?

What will you be working on during the storm? I am going to cut all my projects and put them in order to start sewing!! I just might have to use my treadle...... if i can find the leather belt!!

I'm working on a bunch of hot bowl holders that I plan to give as Christmas gifts. I sewed them together last night (4 of them) and THEN realized that I hadn't sewn in the darts that make them curve up to hold the bowls. So, I did some "unsewing", and will try again today.

No storm here, so I'll be watching football all day! Yippee!

Praying for all of you in the path of the storm. I'll be watching Hallmark movies( saw the same ones yesterday) and hand appliqueing. DH will be watching football (through his eyelids ~~ get it?). We had only one hurricane this year -- Issac. The area sugarcane recovered pretty well and we're in the middle of harvest season. I hope you all do as well.

Whatever you will be doing today and in the next few days, here's hoping and praying that you will all be safe and sound!! Weather is pretty calm out here on the other side of the country - chilly and dreary. A great day for football and a nap!!

I altered a dress for GGD for Halloween that I made for her Mom many years ago. Then did 4 placemats have 4 more to go. They are part of our guild chairty project.
