so far I've worked on my bow tucks bag, made lunch, and am now getting rid of my gray. I use henna and the first time I did this 19yo dd came in and said "eww that looks like horse poop!" So of course I told her it was. Really had her going for awhile. Even asked her if she wanted to try it herself! lol! So just now I texted her and told her I was thinking about her while I did my "horse poop" hair treatment! (DD is working at a horse camp all summer.) Now while I wait I need to go wash dishes. Also having an afternoon cup of coffee. Oh it is SO good! Strong, black and sweet. I should be wired for cleaning the kitchen! I'll do some more sewing on my bow tucks bag when the kitchen is done and the hair is finished.

I've only taken my grandson to preschool, bought him one of his birthday presents, and bought groceries. I popped on here and I've been here ever since. I've got to quit doing this when I have other things (vacuuming) that need doing. But this is way more fun.

Working until around 2. I may finish the quilting on a wedding gift and try to cut and machine sew the binding on it. I will hand sew the back as I sit and ice my knee and shoulder over the next couple days.

Well I was planning on sewing but my daughter called and needs me to pick up the kids at the babysitter's cuz she has a doctor's appointment so that's the end of my plans.

I may just have to make an earlier trip to the library and the LQS since Miss Trinity seems to be perking up. If only I could drag myself off this website! I'm addicted! Sounds like everyone has lots of stuff planned to get done today too!

Yardwork...This is about 6' in diameter. It just exploded due to all of the rain here along with the weeds and the temp is 96 with 100% humidity so I came in to the board to cool off.

I'm quilting a vintage, handpieced quilt top that I bought on ebay.It looks like scrappy octogons and the piecer tried but wasn't the most skilled. I'm determined to quilt it into submision and hope to have a pretty quilt when I'm done.

Started out with some weeding in the front flowerbed. Then to town for a H2O Zumba class. Then to the other end of town, looking for an 'igloo' ice chest. 3 times I was in Walmart and they didn't have any. Weird! Got some groceries. Made some phone calls to line up help for a foodstand at a concert coming up. Made lists for the 4th picinic here. I'm real good at making lists! I did bag up the frozen raspberries this morning that we picked out of the fencerows the other evening. A tradition that I have raspberry custard pie at our 4th of July picnic. And of course I spent time here reading and admiring the works of art that the folks post!!
