I like the first pic with the blue instead of white. Very pretty quilt design and fabrics

I like the first pic where all blue is used at the border points of contact. Less busy for the eye to look at.

I like it better with the white triangles at the edges - they go with the white cornerstones used in the rest of the quilt.

I would miter the border corners to go with the on-point setting of the blocks.

Pretty quilt, either way.

I like the white on all corners of the blocks and would miter the corners but then I prefer mitered corners on all quilts unless there are cornerstones in the borders. Unless you have something planned for the wide border you might want to try making the larger border two smaller ones or change to a solid to show off the quilting.

I think it is stunning just the way it is. Very well balanced in my eye.

One suggestion to try and see how it looks - I might continue the white corner stones on the outside edge in the blue border where the block sashing meets the border. It would make the blocks lay ontop of the inner border. Your second photo has triangles, I would use squares that go right into the border. Hope that is understandable.

Just a thought.

It is a very nice design and reminds me of the blue willow china.
peace

Default I really like this..with your changes

I mitered the corners made the borders smaller, the only thing now is that if I use a print for the dark border it will be hard to see the feathers I plan on putting on there. Would I look okay with a solid, or should I just go with the print? Thanks everyone for your input.
