    Hey All,

I just bought two of these for my two little cousins and am not really sure what to do with them, so I thought I'd get your opinion on it.

    Thanks
    Cindy

Not knowing the size, perhaps a wall hanging. Or incorporate it into the center of a quilt.

You could hand quilt the outlines of some of the shapes, add some baby animal blocks in the corners and co-ordinate with some other JOhn Deere fabrics.

The fabric is 36" by 44" I wanted to make quilts out of them but not sure what I should do around the outside of it.

Hi, here's a link to some ideas for using panels. Depending on how big you want the quilts to be you could surround it with both pieced blocks and borders, and either pull from different colour families or arrange them differently so each cousin's quilt is distinctly his or her own.

    Have fun!

Add a backing fabric, batting, quilt, and add a binding.
Walla! This quilt is finished

I got a similar sized 'hard hats' panel for my DGS and just used fleece for the backing and did not use any batting at all. I stitched around the main shapes of the panel for the quilting then I found some coordinating color bias quilt binding at Wal-Mart and used that for the binding. It was really quick and easy and Logan loves it.
