I don't know if I will get to quilting today. We are moving in a few months to another state and today we half emptied the attic with stuff we aren't keeping and I put my stash, such that it is, into 3 big plastic bins. I don't keep a big stash - but I do have a lot of machines (most of which are living in my son's basement not far from the new house - temperature/humidity controlled) and a lot of feet/attachments and gizmos/notions. I'm going to pack those up too and sort them when we finally move. I am working on a bag for my girlfriend. I made her one about 3 years ago and she has worn it out. I will be quilting the lining part, so I guess that counts?

My niece stopped over earlier today. She's ten and just came from another yard sale. She got this big xxl cotton house dress and we washed it. While that was going on we went to another sale. She found couple shirts and brought those back and washed those. We sat in front of he You Tube and watched some videos and did some deboning of the dress. She cut the hem away and the waist so she would have straight pieces of fabric. She's having fun and watches the videos when nothing else is on tv. She watches the tutorials and says it helps her with her math. Smart girl for a ten year old.

Been busy all day, but hopefully once the kids are in bed I can do a little bit of hand quilting on my Settlers of Catan quilt. I'm very pleased with how it's going so far.

I am working on paper piecing Judy Niemeyer's Fire Island Hosta quilt. Due to carpel tunnel and quilting (tennis) elbow, progress is slow.

Not sewing today. I've been asked to make a quilt for a friends father,so I am busy trying to find a pattern and design it to fit the requirements to be included.
