Question What is your fav two color quilt pattern?

DS has requested a quilt w/red and tan...just a tad scrappy. What is your fav pattern? This w/b queen size and really want a realtive easy pattern. Life always too stressful to worry about a quilt project!

I have to say it would be black with a bright batik or ivory with a deep blue but not navy blue. I know a little weird...lol

I googled red and tan quilt patterns and I thought this one was really nice, and it is just a string quilt done with the 2 colours

Bother, that link doesn't take you directly to the picture, you will need to scroll down to almost the bottom of the page and the quilt I am taking about is call red, black and tan

I just googled two colored quilts: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...mg.XqcIqD-loc4

I will tell you right now that Delectable Mountains is a very easy pattern. You take a half square triangle and slice it up and sew it back together. Easy Peasy.

Bonnie calls it scrappy mountain majesties.

    Here's a pretty one:

I can't help you but I'm following closely as I've never made a 2 color quilt!

What about a double Irish Chain, I have a book with 2 color quilts in it, it looks fairly simple.

Hunter's star ... it can be 2 colors, or more. Free pattern at Quilter's Cache:

I haven't made it yet, but I really like the quilt on the cover of this book by Nicole Chambers. I've seen it made up in black and white prints - gorgeous!
