I'd be disappointed to find the pieces were not all of the same texture, with it being sold as a "set."

Mixing textures makes a quilt better!!!Like color,you use more than one for a better out come.

I like my fabrics to be similar. I don't think I would buy this.

I don't think so. I made a quilt for myself before, adding from a washable silk to lace with a cotton background, to regular cottons- complete scraps from old skirts and tops. It looked pretty nice. . . .well, the quilt top did prior to quilting it, but I did not know at the time how to sandwich, or that I needed a walking foot to further aid in moving all those layers through the sewing machine. :0P I'd say give it a shot.
