I was sewing borders but....
We are having severe storms here in E.Tex so decided I had better shut down this expensive machine! I need to find a treadle that works! Seems like just when things are humming along and hubby was gone so had nothing to interrupt me. Something had to happen! Lol

I've often thought about getting a treadle too. Not just because of electricity surges frying an expensive machine, but at those times when a machine is in the shop for maintenance or repair. In the Twin Cities, we're expecting 8-12" tonight. Wish I could just hole up and sew rather than fight my way to work in the morning.

I always unplug my machines just in cas we get a surprise TS, etc. here in Fl. or a surge. the power co. at a certain time of day switches over from one system to another for some reason and it causes the power to blink so I always keep the machines on a surge protector but also unplug when not using just in case.
Sorry you ladies are getting all this bad weather. I hate to think of what the summer will be here. I think most of the TS are easier to clean up then that snow I sure don't miss it. Good luck ladies. Sue
