BFCreation Stash has a great collection of threads at a fabulous price. I've used their metallics and can't complain. Also picked up one of their sets for one of their designs. Used to Fufu polyester but Floriani took over the brand and raised the price so once I start running out of my Fufu, I'm switching over to BFCreation's brand. She also has great designs too.

Charisma who does beautiful work also recommended Metro Embroidery Thread. They are currently having a bit of a sale on their website in case you are interested.
I am so sorry to hear about your grandson's medical problems. It must be hard for you being so far away from them. I do hope all goes well for him and he gets to have a happy, healthy childhood and beyond.

I have gotten embroidery thread from http://metroemb.com/store/. I purchased one of the pre-packaged kits. It had over 60 spools at a very reasonable price. Great thread for embroidery.

I like to use Rayon threads for quilting, as I love the look; but I purchased the thread at JoAnn's, Wal-Mart and a couple on-line sites like Connecting Threads and Keepsake Quilting. My prayers to your DD, DGS and entire family. God bless.
