Default Will The Color Be True? Slightly Concerned

I am going to be making my first order with Fabric.com in a little while. There is a rich brown that I want for the border of my next project. I wonder if it will really look this good in person. Those of you who have ordered there before, can you tell me if it will be this gorgeous when I get it? What has your experience been? I sent them an email about a swatch, but it will be Monday before they can answer.

I haven't ordered from them, but I know people on the board have. You have picked out a very pretty material. I hope it is everything you want it to be.

i've been shopping with them for over 10 years- i have never been disappointed. the one time i received a fabric that was not what i expected was totally my fault- i did not read the description which clearly stated what it was...
the fabric in your picture i actually have- and it looks just like that.
they do sell swatches- when you really need to match - make sure of a color it is easy to order swatches-
if you do get something you are not happy with-simply call them- they will make it right- they have very good customer service & with free shipping at $35 ... i can always find $35 worth of fabric (i need)

I have ordered several times. Only once was I disappointed. I have since learned that I don't care for the weave and patterns of that particular manufacturer. It wasn't their fault. I tend to buy certain manufactures products and have never been disappointed doing that. That is beautiful fabric, BTW.

That fabric is fabulous. What are you going to make with it?

Thanks for the answers. Ckcowl, you have set my mind at ease. I am so looking forward to ordering from them. Michelleoc, I am making a Boxed Squares pattern all in Batiks. This will be the outer border. I cannot wait to get started.

What you see on the screen can depend on your computer. As a general rule I have not been disappointed, but there have been times the shade or the intensity is not quite what I anticipated. I have found this to be the case of any site, as I commented it has a lot to do with your computer monitor.

it might not be as bright or as rich when you get it. because it is a batik there can be a huge difference in die lots and from one side to the other of fabric. but the colors should be very close and like has been said intensity can be deceiving on a computer screen.
